BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU

Kids Gi

Ages 4-14. Students will learn basic techniques and fundamental principles of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu while focusing on using the gi. Classes integrate self-defense techniques with physical education and conditioning. Students work on developing coordination, motor skills, strength and flexibility. 

Adult Fundamentals Gi

Ages 15-100. Students will learn basic techniques and fundamental principles of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu while focusing on using the gi. This class is meant for beginners but is open to all levels. 

Adult Gi

Ages 15 -100. Students will learn basic through advanced techniques in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu using the gi and is open to all levels. 

Adult No Gi

Ages 15-100. Students will learn basic through advanced techniques in grappling and class is open to all levels. 

Adult Chain Submissions

Ages 15-100. This class covers how to chain submission attempts in grappling and flow from one control position to another. This class is open to all levels.

Gi Competition

All ages. This class covers basics through advanced techniques in BJJ using the Gi with an emphasis on competition. This includes physical conditioning for competition as well as understanding of rules and how to fight within the rule set to win competitions. This class is meant for those who are interested in competing but is open to all levels.

No Gi Competition

Ages 15-100. This class covers basics through advanced techniques in grappling with an emphasis on competition. This includes physical conditioning for competition as well as understanding of rules and how to grapple within the rule set to win competitions. This class is meant for those who are interested in competing but is open to all levels. 

Open Mat

All ages. Our mat is open to members and non-members alike during this time. All levels are welcome. While this practice session is free, all participants must complete and sign a waiver even if they are not members of Boa Sorte.
